Observation

Mask for enhanced vision and colour intensification.		   Findings:
Since it is only a small street, pedestrians don't usually wait for the light to turn green before crossing. Still, there is often a lot of traffic that makes some regulation necessary.
 
Idea
We wanted to make daily action of crossing the street more fun and the time while waiting for the lights to switch more exciting. The traffic lights on each side should become the conection of an aerial runway, so that people can slide or swing across to the other side.    
 
Transformation
Installing the cable was more tricky than we had imagined, but we got it working!
When the light for cars would turn red, pedestrians could pick the rope and slide across. For them it would be fun, while some drivers and people on motor bikes felt somewhat nervous and kept more distance.
